Want to try The World's Game before its official release? This simple PC workaround lets you access part of the mode early and play the tournament with the national team of your choice.
🔹 1️⃣ The Settings Directory
The very first thing is to rename your game settings directory. Why? By doing this, the game will generate a completely fresh and clean directory when it launches, restoring the original configuration.
Where can you find this folder? Usually at the following path:
C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26 (where "xxxx" is your Windows username)Rename this folder to EA SPORTS FC 26-BACKUP. If you play Ultimate Team, have a Career Mode save, or would like to return to your previous configuration, you can always restore this backup folder later to get your original settings back.
🔹 2️⃣ Use the EA App in Offline Mode
Now you need to switch the EA App to Offline Mode. Open the menu by clicking the three-line icon in the top-left corner of the EA App, then select GO OFFLINE.
🔹 3️⃣ Enter the Game in Offline Mode
Launch the game while the EA App is offline. You will be prompted to create a new profile as if you were playing for the first time. Once you enter the game, you should see THE WORLD'S GAME appear in the game modes menu. However, do not select it yet.
🔹 4️⃣ Set the EA App Back to Online Mode
Minimize the game (Alt + Enter) and switch the EA App back to Online Mode.
🔹 5️⃣ Return to the Game and Play The World's Game
Finally, return to the game and select THE WORLD'S GAME. The game will attempt to connect to the servers and a video introducing THE WORLD'S GAME mode should begin playing. You should then be able to try the tournament.
👎 Disadvantages
- If you leave the mode and return later, you'll notice that The World's Game is no longer available in the menu. This method is intended for a single session, or at least to let you try the mode.
- You won't be able to save your tournament progress because you'll need to repeat this entire process every time you launch the game.
- No other game mode is available other than the Tournament.
