Starting on June 4, as part of the Festival of Football event, Tokens will become the primary way to earn rewards each week in Ultimate Team.

Players will be able to earn Festival of Football Tokens across a variety of Ultimate Team modes and activities, including:

EA states that the system is intended to reward time spent playing FUT regardless of the mode selected. By unifying progression through Tokens, players can work toward the same rewards without being locked into a single activity.

✋🏻Weekly Token Limits and Progression

To balance the system across the Ultimate Team community, EA will introduce a weekly cap on the number of Tokens that can be earned.

• During the Festival of Football campaign, players can earn up to 1,000 Tokens per week, for a total of 5,000 Tokens throughout the event.
• Higher-level performances will continue to provide additional rewards alongside Tokens, giving competitive players extra incentives for achieving stronger results.

The amount of Tokens earned will vary depending on performance and rank achieved in different modes.

• Division 1 Rivals: 275 Tokens (Base Rewards) or 400 Tokens (Upgraded Rewards)
• Division 5 Rivals: 175 Tokens (Base Rewards) or 400 Tokens (Upgraded Rewards)
• Division 8 Rivals: 75 Tokens (Base Rewards) or 150 Tokens (Upgraded Rewards)
• Squad Battles Elite 3: 400 Tokens
• Squad Battles Gold 3: 150 Tokens

🏆FUT Champions Tokens

• Alongside the main Tokens system, Season 8 will introduce FUT Champions Tokens and a separate FUT Champions Store.
• Champions Tokens can be earned through FUT Champions and exchanged for a range of rewards, including a rotating selection of special Red FUT Champions Player Items.
• No more Red Picks
• Players can choose to spend Tokens weekly or save them over multiple weekends to pursue larger rewards later in the season.
• Higher FUT Champions finishes will continue to award additional Coins on top of Champions Tokens, preserving incentives for competitive players aiming for stronger performances.

🎁Tokens Store and Available Rewards

Tokens earned during the Festival of Football can be spent in a dedicated store featuring a variety of rewards. EA notes that players will not be able to unlock everything available, making reward choices a more meaningful part of progression.

The Tokens Store will include:

• Player Items
• Packs
• Evolutions
• Club Customization Items

Rewards will be available at different price points to accommodate various play styles and levels of engagement throughout the season.

• Rewards up to 300 Tokens can be earned quickly through short-term play.
• Rewards up to 1,000 Tokens require multiple play sessions.
• Rewards up to 2,500 Tokens are designed as long-term seasonal goals.
• The most expensive reward will cost approximately half of the total Tokens available during the event.

Lower-cost rewards will receive weekly refreshes, while larger rewards will remain available throughout the Festival of Football campaign, allowing players to plan their spending over time.
