CONTROL Resonant Reveals Final PC System Requirements

September 10, 2026

Remedy Entertainment has revealed the final PC system requirements for CONTROL Resonant, detailing the hardware needed for everything from 1080p gameplay to 4K with Ray Tracing and Path Tracing.

💻PC requirements

The requirements are divided into six different configurations, with targets ranging from 1080p at 30 FPS on Low settings to 4K at 60 FPS with Path Tracing enabled. The game will also support modern upscaling technologies including NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 and AMD FSR 4.1.

Configuration Resolution / FPS Graphics / RT Upscaler GPU CPU VRAM
Minimum 1080p / 30 FPS Low / RT Off Quality GTX 1070 / RX 5600 XT / Arc A580 i5-8500 / Ryzen 5 3500 6 GB
Recommended 1440p / 60 FPS Medium / RT Off Balanced RTX 3060 Ti / RX 6700 XT / Arc B580 i7-10700 / Ryzen 7 3700X 8 GB
Enthusiast 4K / 60 FPS High / RT Off Performance RTX 3080 / RX 6800 XT i7-10700 / Ryzen 7 3700X 10 GB
Ray Tracing Minimum 1080p / 30 FPS Low / RT Low Quality RTX 2060 Super / RX 6600 / Arc A580 i7-8700K / Ryzen 5 3600X 8 GB
Ray Tracing Recommended 1440p / 60 FPS Medium / RT Medium Balanced RTX 4070 Ti / RX 9070 i7-10700 / Ryzen 7 3700X 10 GB
Path Tracing Enthusiast 4K / 60 FPS High / RT High Performance RTX 5080 i7-10700 / Ryzen 7 3700X 12 GB

💻16 GB RAM and a 120 GB SSD are required

All six configurations require 16 GB of RAM, Windows 10 or Windows 11 64-bit, and 120 GB of SSD storage. The requirements also make clear that upscaling is part of the performance targets, meaning these resolutions and frame rates are not necessarily achieved at native resolution. The most demanding configuration is reserved for players who want to experience the game at 4K and 60 FPS with High settings and Path Tracing. Remedy recommends an RTX 5080 with 12 GB of VRAM, paired with an i7-10700 or Ryzen 7 3700X. This target uses DLSS Performance.

💻Ray Tracing raises the requirements considerably

Players interested in Ray Tracing will need considerably more powerful hardware. The minimum RT configuration requires an RTX 2060 Super, RX 6600 or Arc A580 for 1080p at 30 FPS, while the recommended 1440p/60 FPS configuration jumps to an RTX 4070 Ti or RX 9070.

CONTROL Resonant will launch on September 24, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
