Samus returns in Metroid Ravenous, a new 2D adventure and direct sequel to Metroid Dread. It launches exclusively on Switch 2 on January 28, 2027.
🎮Kirby and the World Beyond
Nintendo also revealed Kirby and the World Beyond, a new 3D adventure featuring free exploration and Kirby's Copy Abilities. It is scheduled for spring 2027 on Switch 2.

The Direct confirmed Monster Hunter Wilds, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Royal Edition, Resident Evil 2, 3 and 4, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, Stellar Blade and The Witcher 3 for Switch 2.
🎮Persona 6 and Persona 4 Revival Confirmed
Atlus confirmed that Persona 6 and Persona 4 Revival are coming to Nintendo Switch 2. While Persona 6 remains a new standalone adventure with a new cast, Persona 4 Revival reimagines the mystery surrounding the Midnight Channel. Persona 4 Revival launches on May 20, 2027, while Persona 6 does not yet have a release date.
🎮Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave was shown in greater detail, taking players to the Dagdan Empire and its Heroic Games. The game launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 on September 17.
🎮Professor Layton Returns
Professor Layton and the New World of Steam received a release date of December 10, 2026, launching on both Switch and Switch 2.
🎮Mario Kart World Gets a Free Update
Mario Kart World is receiving a free update later today that adds 10 classic courses from the original Super Mario Kart as standalone VS Race tracks. The update also adds two new Knockout Tour routes, Propeller Rally and Turnip Rally, as well as a Spectator Mode for online and LAN play.
