EA Sports FC 27 version 1.0.1 is set to arrive tomorrow, September 23, addressing a number of bugs reported by players as well as issues identified through Closed Beta feedback. The update is intentionally limited in scope. EA says it will not significantly change gameplay balance or tuning, allowing the Early Access and launch gameplay settings to remain largely unchanged.
👑Ultimate Team
The update fixes an issue with the Evolutions player filter. Selecting a Player Item that did not meet the requirements of the “Filter Evolutions By Player” option could cause parts of the interface to become unresponsive.
⚽The Grounds Fixes
Several issues affecting The Grounds have also been addressed:
- 5 Star Skill Moves could not be performed in Street Football matches, even when the Avatar had the required skill level unlocked and equipped.
- Players could sometimes be unable to join matches through Hot Join.
- Players could sometimes experience unexpectedly high ping in League Matches.
🎮Gameplay Changes
There are a couple of gameplay adjustments, although EA has stressed that the update is not intended to significantly alter balance or tuning.
- In Authentic Gameplay, available in Career Mode and Kick Off, the default Jockey and Sprint Jockey Speed slider values have been moderately increased. Competitive Gameplay is not affected.
- In The Grounds 11v11 matches, fatigue will have a greater impact on long-term player stamina.
- An issue that could prevent players using custom controller presets from performing their intended inputs has been fixed.
🎵General, Audio and Visual Fixes
Version 1.0.1 also includes several technical fixes, including various stability issues. On Nintendo Switch, players could sometimes be unable to use DLC commentary languages even when they were already installed on the system. On PS5, the update addresses visual issues that could appear in the main menu.
