EA has confirmed the schedule for the EA SPORTS FC 27 Ratings reveal, with the first announcements arriving on August 15. The daily reveals will include the 27 highest-rated men's and women's players, Club Star Ratings, players from the world's biggest leagues, and more. At the end of the reveal week, EA will open the FC 27 Ratings Database, allowing players to explore the ratings and stats of every base Player Item. The database will receive a further update in September,
once the international transfer window has closed and squads for the
new season have been confirmed. This update will also include the
players' PlayStyles.

⭐Destined for Glory
EA is also preparing the first Football Ultimate Team campaign of the FC 27 season, Destined for Glory. Unlike a standard campaign, the initial squad will be shaped by the FC community through voting in the Ratings Database.
Voting begins on August 21 and will allow players to select anyone in the Ratings Database who they believe will have a major impact during the upcoming season. There is no limit on the number of players users can vote for, and every player listed in the database is eligible.
The community's votes will help determine the final Destined for Glory Squad. Selected Player Items will then receive live upgrades based on real-world performances.
Voting will remain open until September 10, 2026, while the Destined for Glory campaign will run from September 25 to October 9, 2026.
How to vote for Destined for Glory
- Visit the EA SPORTS FC 27 Ratings Database from August 21.
- Find a player you believe will define the upcoming season.
- Select the Vote button next to the player's name.
- Vote for as many players as you want.
According to EA, players who could “define the season” include those expected to break out, make an immediate impact at a new club, lead their team, or establish themselves as one of the season's biggest stars.
👍FC 27 removes Common and Rare base items
EA has also confirmed how the new Football Ultimate Team item rarity system will work. As announced in the FC 27 Deep Dive, base Bronze, Silver, and Gold Player Items will no longer be separated into Common and Rare variants. Instead, base items will simply be classified as Bronze, Silver, or Gold. The new system will be reflected throughout the FC 27 Ratings Database as the player ratings are revealed.
