Elysium Game Studio has unveiled the Gamescom 2026 Release Announcement Trailer for Neo Berlin 2087, its upcoming cyberpunk action-detective shooter. The game is set in a futuristic Berlin shaped by divisions in wealth, technology, and social class, with a conspiracy at the center of its story. The new trailer offers another look at the game's setting and investigative gameplay, including its approach to crime scenes and memory reconstruction.

Investigate Crime Scenes and Reconstruct Memories

Neo Berlin 2087 combines action with detective-focused gameplay. Players will investigate crime scenes and reconstruct memories to uncover information that may have gone undetected, gradually piecing together the events surrounding the game's central conspiracy. The game also allows players to switch between first-person and third-person perspectives during gameplay, giving them the option to approach the experience from either viewpoint.

The new trailer also makes the game's influences and visual identity stand out. Its cyberpunk setting, futuristic technology, and several of its action sequences may remind players of The Matrix, while its dystopian world, investigative elements, and blend of technology and conspiracy also evoke comparisons to Deus Ex. However, Elysium Game Studio has not announced any official connection to either franchise.

Neo Berlin 2087 is Elysium Game Studio's first game, although the project was originally announced under the name Shadow of Conspiracy: Section 2 before being rebranded.
