BLACKWOOD Contracts Update Adds New Side Missions, MP5, and Reworked Melee Combat
The Contracts Update for BLACKWOOD is available now, bringing new content to Act 1 alongside gameplay improvements, new weapons, additional music, and fixes to the action game. The update adds several side missions, giving Anton three new contracts to take on as he builds his criminal empire, introducing a varied set of challenges including a wave-based shooter, a drifting trial, and a sniper mission.
Alongside the new contracts, the update adds the MP5 submachine gun purchasable from the dark web with new modification parts, reworks melee combat with improved animations based on player feedback, refreshes the tutorial with helpful tips throughout the game, and adds new music for managing the shop or heading out on a contract. Further camera polish, refinements to movement and dives, and a range of bug fixes round out the update, which also includes Razer Chroma RGB integration so compatible devices react to the in-game environment.
BLACKWOOD Act 1 is available now on Steam, with Act 2 and Act 3 launching in 2027.
