SP Football Life 2027 version 1.00 is now available, bringing the 2026/27 season to SmokePatch's standalone football game. The release features updated squads, transfers, gameplay improvements, and changes to several major competitions.
⚽︎ Updated Leagues and Competitions
FL27 introduces several competition format changes, including the 48-team World Cup and the 36-team formats for the UEFA Champions League and Europa League. The Argentine league and MLS have also been expanded to 30 teams. Other updates include revised French and Belgian competition structures, updated Brazilian calendars, and a 16-team Copa América format. These changes are integrated directly into the game executable without requiring external scripts.
🎮 Gameplay and Customization
The new version includes gameplay and engine improvements, updated kits, graphics and audio, and additional options through the FL Switcher. Players can customize theme colors, lighting, controller buttons, and classic teams.
💾 Add-ons and Future Updates
Existing SP add-ons are compatible with FL27, including commentary packs, the Face Pack 26/27, and current stadium packs. Commentary v10, featuring additional player call names, and an updated face pack with additional and revised player faces will be released separately. Updated stadium packs are also in preparation.
SmokePatch plans to provide maintenance updates with bug fixes, database additions, transfer corrections, and general improvements. Changes that could disrupt existing Master League or Become a Legend saves will generally be reserved for future major releases.
