The journey is not over yet! Frostpunk 2: The Surge DLC will launch on PC and Consoles on December 14th, arriving on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Venture into a mysterious valley beyond the borders your people have known, following rumors that history's greatest mind left behind a relic capable of reshaping the world. Uncover a new revolutionary resource that can elevate city automation to unprecedented levels—but at a cost, as factions squabble over its use and the valley's mysteries do not yield easily. Harness nature's wrath with storm-driven technology that converts devastating whiteouts into collectible, storable resources, and explore caves and ruins for hidden treasures while confronting the valley's secrets. After years of desperate wandering, your people have reached an end—or perhaps a new beginning—and the branching choices you make will determine which path society takes.
The Surge is the third and final major expansion for Frostpunk 2, following Fractured Utopias and Breach of Trust, and it completes the expansion series planned for the game. Future support for Frostpunk 2 will be limited to maintenance after this release.
