2K and Hangar 13 have released a new gameplay overview trailer for Mafia: The Old Country โ Man of Honor,
showcasing the expansion's story, new missions, and additional content
coming to Free Ride mode. Featuring the return of fan-favorite character
Ennio Salieri, the expansion launches on August 14 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
๐ด๏ธ Ennio Salieri Returns to Sicily
Set in Sicily during the winter of 1905, Man of Honor continues Enzo Favara's journey across two brand-new story chapters. After earning his place in the Torrisi crime family, Enzo is assigned to assist Ennio Salieri, a recently released "man of honor" determined to rebuild his reputation and regain his influence.
This younger version of Salieri is portrayed as more reckless and ambitious than the calculating Don players remember from Mafia and Mafia: Definitive Edition. The expansion explores his early years before his rise to power in America. Players can experience these chapters naturally within the main campaign or jump directly into them once they've reached the required point in the story.
๐ Free Ride Mode Gets Bigger
The expansion also brings a major update to Free Ride mode. Operating from a warehouse in Porto Almaro, Salieri becomes the player's main contact for a variety of new activities, divided into two categories:
- Salieri's Challenges โ Tougher versions of existing activities, including standoffs, assassinations, circuit races, time trials, and road sprints.
- Salieri's Jobs โ Brand-new mission types focused on tracking hidden loot, towing valuable vehicles, and transporting stolen trucks loaded with fragile cargo.
Completing these activities rewards extra Dinari, which can be spent on exclusive outfits, Charms, weapons, vehicles, and horses. Players will also discover new collectibles, including Wanted Posters featuring members of the development team, stunt jumps, and destructible sulfur trucks scattered throughout the world.
๐ซ New Weapons, Charms & Equipment
Man of Honor introduces several new weapons and Charms, including some with more arcade-inspired abilities. The Rimbalzu throwing knife can ricochet to hit a second target, making stealth encounters even deadlier.
Other additions include the High-Capacity Pump-Action Shotgun and the Precisione Speciale, a powerful firearm capable of firing explosive rounds. Players can also equip the Dolce Morte Charm, which gives defeated enemies a chance to drop health-restoring items and bonus Dinari.
