Attack on Titan 3 Launches December 10, New Trailer Confirms Platforms and MAPPA Opening

Koei Tecmo has confirmed that Attack on Titan 3 will launch on December 10, 2026. The announcement was accompanied by a new gameplay trailer showcasing the upcoming action game. Described as the conclusion to the series of Attack on Titan action games, the title follows the story from the Survey Corps' earliest battles through the events of the manga and anime's finale.


MAPPA Producing the Opening Animation

Koei Tecmo also confirmed that the game's opening animation is being produced by MAPPA, the studio behind Attack on Titan: The Final Season. The sequence is directed by action scene animator, storyboard artist, and key animator Arifumi Imai.

However, the opening animation will not be included at launch. Instead, it will be added in a future game update.
