The Steam Next Fest demo for ArcheAge Chronicles is now available, giving players a chance to explore Auroria, experience the game's action-focused combat, and take on new content, including the Throne of Hinnon dungeon and PvP channels.
A New Story Set in Auroria
ArcheAge Chronicles takes place around 50 years after the events of the original ArcheAge, shifting the focus to the discovery and settlement of Auroria. Players take on the role of an experienced explorer joining an established trading company, setting out to explore ancient ruins and investigate a catastrophic airship crash that leads into a wider mystery involving characters with their own secrets and agendas.
The game combines an unfolding story with an online open world, action-based combat, exploration, and activities such as crafting, trading, and housing.
New Dungeon and PvP Content
The Steam Next Fest demo builds on the earlier network test with two major additions: the Throne of Hinnon dungeon and PvP channels. The dungeon offers a high-level challenge outside the demo's normal quest progression, while PvP channels let players test their combat skills against other players.
All four playable classes are available in the demo: Warrior, Ranger, Berserker, and Mage. Each class has access to two weapons, offering different combat approaches to try during the event.
How to Play the Demo
The demo is free to play on Steam and available to players worldwide from October 19 through October 26, 2026. No registration or access request is required. Progress and save data from the demo will not carry over to the Early Access version.
