Pearl Abyss has delayed Crimson Desert: Charting the Unknown by two weeks, moving the release of the upcoming DLC from October 15 to October 29, 2026.

According to Pearl Abyss, the additional development time is needed to deliver a more polished and stable gameplay experience. The team will use the extra time to further refine the expansion before launch.
🌊 What the Expansion Adds
Charting the Unknown expands Crimson Desert with a new adventure beyond Pywel's familiar shores. Players will be able to command their own ship, explore uncharted islands, dive underwater to discover treasures and sunken ruins, and face new threats on land and at sea.
The expansion also introduces expanded housing and facility management options, along with new stories involving Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane. The new narrative explores additional mysteries and conflicts surrounding the world of Pywel.
Crimson Desert: Charting the Unknown will now launch on October 29, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
