There is some bad news for players planning to take a Liga MX club to glory in EA FC 27's Career Mode. The Mexican league will have a significant limitation when it comes to international competitions.
🇲🇽 No International Competitions for Liga MX
According to the latest information, Liga MX clubs in EA FC 27 Career Mode will not be able to participate in the Leagues Cup, CONCACAF Champions Cup, Intercontinental Cup, or FIFA Club World Cup.
Career Mode also won't feature generic tournaments that could be used to simulate these competitions. As a result, players managing a Liga MX club will only be able to compete for domestic glory and ultimately aspire to win the Liga MX title.
This is particularly disappointing for anyone looking to build a long-term career with a Mexican club, as international competitions would provide an important part of the progression and challenge of managing a Liga MX team.
🛠️PC Mods Could Provide a Solution
There is, however, hope for PC players. The EA FC modding community has historically found ways to add or modify competitions, teams, and other Career Mode elements that are missing from the official game. It is therefore quite possible that modders will eventually create solutions that allow Liga MX clubs to participate in these international competitions in EA FC 27. Console players, however, would not have access to those community-made modifications.
