Ubisoft and Xbox have announced two major changes for PC players. First,
owners of selected Xbox console games will receive the PC version at no
extra cost. Second, Xbox on PC users can now access premium editions
and additional content for a wide range of Ubisoft titles.
1. Buy on Xbox, get the PC version for free
Starting today, players who own the digital Xbox version of selected Ubisoft games will also receive the PC version through Ubisoft Connect at no additional cost. Existing owners will gain access during a phased rollout ending on August 4, while new purchases automatically include both Xbox console and PC versions.

2. Premium Editions arrive on Xbox PC
Ubisoft has also expanded support for Premium Editions and selected DLC on the Xbox PC App. Games including Assassin's Creed Shadows, Star Wars Outlaws, Rainbow Six Siege, Skull and Bones, and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown now include their premium editions and supported add-on content on PC.
For most supported titles, owned editions and DLC transfer from Xbox to PC at no extra cost. Consumables, such as in-game currency, are not included. Ubisoft also confirmed that this offer only works from Xbox to PC, not the other way around. Players should update Ubisoft Connect to the latest version to ensure the new content appears in their library.
