Get ready to hit the pavement! NBA THE RUN brings stylish 3v3 streetball to Steam on June 9 and you can jump into the PC beta playtest starting this weekend.
Streetball is back, and it’s looking better than ever. Play by Play Studios just dropped the big news: NBA THE RUN is officially launching on June 9! While it’s hitting consoles, the team is showing plenty of love to the PC community with a dedicated Steam beta playtest happening this Saturday, May 16, from 10 am to 2 pm PDT.
If you’ve been missing the "golden age" of arcade sports games, this is the one to watch. Built by industry veterans with a passion for fluid gameplay, the game features true rollback netcode. For us PC players, that means every ankle-breaking crossover and alley-oop should feel buttery smooth and perfectly synced, even in the heat of online play.
The game launches with over 30 NBA stars and 5 fictional street legends (including "Spin Cycle," who you can try in the beta). You’ll be competing in the Run the World Tournament, a four-round knockout gauntlet set in iconic street courts across the globe.
PC players can choose between three main modes:
The game is hitting Steam with two flavours:
Don't forget: Head over to Steam right now to sign up for the weekend beta. It’s a short window, so make sure your drivers are updated and your controller is ready to go by Saturday morning!
