FC 27 swaps players, the ball, goal nets, and 3D grass for simpler models when they are far from the camera. On the broadcast camera, this makes players on the far side of the pitch look blocky. High LOD keeps the full-detail models visible for much longer.
Two Variants, Pick One
- Detail: The full detail boost for players, the ball, goal nets, and 3D grass.
- Balanced: The same detail boost, plus a lighter crowd and simpler sideline characters to recover some FPS.
Install only ONE variant. Greater detail costs performance, so if your FPS drops, try balanced.
What It Does
- Far-side players retain their full detail, including hair, boots and kit folds.
- The ball stays round and sharp across the pitch.
- Goal nets retain their detail at the far end.
- 3D grass remains visible further from the camera.
- Also covers replays, cutscenes and highlights.
- Visuals only, with no gameplay changes.
Installation (About 2 Minutes)
- Get FIFA Mod Manager 2.2.0 or newer.
- Import ONE file:
TrueFoot High LOD - Detail.fifamod or TrueFoot High LOD - Balanced.fifamod.
- Apply, launch the game and play offline.
No in-game settings needed.
