The Blood of Dawnwalker Update 1.1 Adds Respec, New Difficulty, and Over 1,100 Fixes
The first major post-launch update for The Blood of Dawnwalker, Update 1.1, is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, bringing over 1,100 improvements and fixes alongside significant new features. Headlining the patch is the Draught of Mind Rebirth, a new consumable that lets players reset their Swordmastery, Witchcraft, and Vampirism abilities and reclaim the time invested in them to try a different build. A new, more accessible Story difficulty option has been added with additional combat assist, while the previous Story setting is now renamed Forgiving. Combat sees improved targeting, lock-on, and disengagement, alongside adjusted camera behavior and animations, while traversal abilities Shadowstep and Planeshift now respond more reliably when targeting and attaching to surfaces. Players can also pet dogs and cats with a directional petting system, access expanded subtitle size options, and benefit from dedicated Frame Generation settings on PC.
