Capcom has officially confirmed that Onimusha: Way of the Sword
will launch in September 2026. Alongside the release date announcement,
the publisher unveiled a brand-new gameplay trailer featuring one of

Dohatsu-ten Emerges as a Deadly New Threat
The latest trailer introduces Dohatsu-ten, a fearsome winged Genma warrior known for its incredible speed and relentless brutality. After violently tearing its way into the human world, the demon clashes with legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi in a cinematic duel that showcases the game's fluid combat system, precise parries, and devastating counterattacks.
Capcom confirmed that Onimusha: Way of the Sword will arrive in September 2026 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Pre-Orders Now Open, Demo Available Today
Pre-orders are available now across all platforms. Players who purchase the game in advance will receive the exclusive "Sealed Curse" sword skin and the "Lion Dog" charm as pre-order bonuses.
