Tekken 8 Reveals Yujiro Hanma as Season 3’ Final DLC Fighter

The Ogre Enters the Tournament

Known as “The Ogre” in the Baki series, Yujiro Hanma is famous for his monstrous strength, terrifying combat skills, and overwhelming presence. In the original anime and manga, he is described as the strongest creature alive, capable of defeating entire armies with his bare hands.

While the reveal trailer did not showcase gameplay footage, fans immediately recognized Yujiro’s iconic silhouette and intimidating aura. His fighting style is expected to focus on brutal close-range attacks, overwhelming power, and devastating martial arts techniques.

Tekken 8 Season 3 Expands the Roster

Yujiro Hanma will serve as the fourth and final DLC character included in Tekken 8 Season 3. The expansion continues Bandai Namco’s strategy of mixing classic Tekken veterans with surprising crossover fighters from other franchises.

A Perfect Match for the Tekken Universe

Many fighting game fans believe Yujiro Hanma is one of the most fitting guest characters ever added to Tekken. Both franchises are known for their exaggerated martial arts action, larger-than-life fighters, and over-the-top combat sequences.

The crossover also generated major excitement within the fighting game community, with players already speculating about Yujiro’s potential Rage Art, combo routes, and special animations against characters like Kazuya Mishima and Heihachi.

Release Window and Platforms

Yujiro Hanma is scheduled to launch in early 2027 as part of Tekken 8 Season 3.
