Also another user at FIFA Forums is reporting that just like FIFA 09, in FIFA 10, the CPU doesn't do tactical subs, only straight swaps
"i was spectating an AI vs AI game. at 67min, both sides made double substitutions, anelka for ballack, malouda for pizarro, ibrah for busquets, and toure for bojan.
however, after the substitution, i changed control to each side to check formation, and pizarro(ST) was playing as LM, malouda's position, and ballack(CAM) was playing as ST, anelka's position. On barca's side, busquet was playing lone striker, and bojan was playing as CM"
