D-Tunez is working on a Cloth Physics Mod for PES 2021 that aims to make player kits look more realistic by introducing dynamic physics to shirts and shorts. The project is still a work in progress, with several technical issues to resolve before it is ready for release.
How Does It Work?
D-Tunez replaces the shirt and shorts shaders in real time with new versions that support physics, then applies them back to the game. The method does not require direct modifications to the game's FMDL files. The mod already features customizable settings through an INI file, allowing users to adjust the physics for different clothing types, including regular shirts, tight shirts, tucked-in shirts and shorts. Sleeves also move dynamically, although their movement is currently less pronounced than that of shorts.

Performance and visual glitches remain the main challenges. The current version can cause stuttering, while cloth deformation may produce glitches and visible gaps where parts of the player's body appear to be missing. D-Tunez is still working to address these problems and has asked the community to be patient, as development is at an early stage.
The developer is also considering additional features based on community suggestions. Ideas include applying physics to managers' suits and introducing ball deformation, while other improvements could expand the mod beyond clothing physics.
