New Traits System in EA Sports FC

According to @FUTSheriff, EA is working on a new traits system for EASFC that will provide new behaviors and boosts that were not possible on FIFA 23.

EA Sports FC Traits

The new EA Sports FC Traits System would be comparable to Badges in NBA 2K23 or X-Factor skills in NHL 23. The goal will be to create new levels of Player authenticity and more unique players. For instance, in NBA 2K23 you have Shooting, Playmaking, Finishing, Defensive and Attributes. Well it seems in EA Sports FC we will have 7 different categories :

Scoring
Passing
Defending
Dribbling
Physical
Goal Keeping
FUT Specific Gameplay.

This Trait System will help to not increase the OVR-Curve too much, since cards could be upgraded by traits without the need of upgrading stats and OVR. This will allow EA to have trait-related promos.

Base and Icons Traits

It seems that there will be 2 categories:

Base Traits
Icon Traits

Icon cards would differ more from base gold cards now due to icon traits.

FUT Specific Gameplay

These are the FUT Specific Gameplay traits that are currently being tested

Team Captain: Boosts low chem players (0 gain +1; 1 gain +2)
League Star: Gives +1 Boost to all players in their league
Lone Wolf: +2 / +3 Boost to players with no team or country-mates
Team Spirit: All Team players have a stamina boost
Super Sub: The player comes from the bench with full chem
Flexible: the player will automatically change their position based on where they are placed
