When does Destined for Glory upgrade tracking start?

Destined for Glory Player Items can earn upgrades throughout the entire football season starting from September 25, based on real-world performances in their domestic league.

How long will Destined for Glory players continue to receive upgrades?

Destined for Glory items will only be upgraded based on league performances in the 2026/27 domestic season.

What happens if a Destined for Glory item is transferred or loaned to a different club?

If a Destined for Glory player leaves their current club, they will no longer be eligible for upgrades.

How are goals, assists, and clean sheets awarded?

Goals and assists for attacking players will be awarded based on Opta data and are combined together. For example, if a player has 3 goals and 3 assists, they will receive the +1 PlayStyle upgrade.

For defensive players, clean sheets will be awarded if the player's team ends a match with a clean sheet and the player featured in the match by either starting the game or being subbed in during the match.
