TOTY Warmup Series Announced

Today EA revealed a loading screen announcing a TOTY Warmup Series campaign. Was there something similar in previous FIFA games? No new cards have been added to the database. So what to expect?
When a few days ago, EA revealed the TOTY campaign they announced that the voting will end on January 17. It was clear that TOTY won´t be released this weekend. So EA decided to include this Pre TOTY promo named TOTY Warmup Series.
There was no event similar to this one in previous TOTYs. But there was one event that could remain this Warmup Series. It was the Pre-Black Friday in FIFA 21. During that event, there were no special teams, no special items. But there were many Squad Building Challenges, player objectives, promo packs.
There are no new cards added to the database so we can not expect new special teams. During the last days, there were revealed upcoming Flashbacks ( like Gundogan ) and today new packs have been added to the database. So during the next few days, we will have a promo that will not include new special teams but many SBCs ( probably also flash ones ) focused on empty clubs before the final TOTY Promo.
