FGS Player Tokens revealed

A new item was revealed in the FIFA 21 code. When it was discovered it was related to Swaps, those players cards earned through objectives that later you could exchange for Icons. But later EA confirmed the real purpose of these special items.

As you can see in this screenshot the item was revealed as a Special Item. So there was no reference to swaps. The fact that related this item to swaps was the card design that reminded those of FIFA 20 for swaps.

But later EA confirmed that these items in fact were swaps but that related to live events. In other words, you will earn these items by watching live events, and later you will be able to redeem them for players, packs, etc.

You will have to link your Twitch and EA accounts. Later watch an eligible FIFA 21 Global Series Event on Twitch for at least 60 minutes. So you will receive an FGS Player Token Item in-game. Then you can redeem your FGS Player Token items in-game for FGS Pack Rewards.
