NBA 2K11 sales near 4 million!

After EA Sports canceled the reboot to its annualized basketball sim--NBA Elite 11--last year, NBA 2K11 went on to lead NPD's US retail sales charts in October and place in the top 10 for the remainder of 2010. Today, 2K Sports put a number to NBA 2K11's success, announcing that the game has now sold nearly 4 million units worldwide. According to the publisher, NBA 2K11's performance equates to the fastest-selling title both for the franchise and the publishing label.
