Paulv2k4 continues his research on modding possibilities of new Frostbite files. You probably know that Madden NFL 21 has just been released and, just like in FIFA, Frostbite is the engine of the game. First impressions are that upgrading Frosty Editor to mod these games is not going to be easy. Anyway, Paul has made some improvements to his own tool.
As we said Paul has started his own research regarding the modding possibilities of new Frostbite. He reported that he does not believe that Frosty Editor could be updated quickly due to the complexity of the new files system. Probably we won´t be able to mod FIFA 21 like we do for FIFA 20 for some time ( same for Madden ). According to Paul, EA have changed a lot of stuff. Everything, from finding and compiling files all the way to SDK generation will have to be redone.
Anyway, we have good news. Paul already developed a working legacy files editor ( database files, lua files, etc ) for FIFA 20, that soon he will be testing on Madden 21 and he expects to be working on FIFA 21 too.
