An Interactive Match Simulator, revamped players' growth system and new training and management systems are new features to be included in Career Mode. EA also promises an enhanced opposition AI and more realistic transfers. Let´s check out details.Â
EA announced that they will be introducing an Interactive Match Sim to jump in and out of matches to influence the course of the action and take charge of key moments including penalties and free kicks to change the outcome of the match. You will be able to monitor match data and make changes directly from the sim based on the match stats and your players’ performance levels and stamina.
You will be able to change your players development. For instance, turning right-backs into right-wingers, defensive midfielders into center-backs, and more to fill gaps in your team, and monitor player attribute changes during training to see how your squad is progressing. Interesting stuff to enhance Career Mode. Let´s hope there are no huge errors in players' stats as they develop.
A nice idea by EA is to introduce a new Match sharpness attribute that indicates how likely your players are to perform in the most crucial moments during the course of a game. So forget to hire those players who don´t have the passion to face the challenge of a big game and underperform when needed the most. ( Add here the player you are thinking now ) You will be able to increase your players’ sharpness with a new Active Training System that gives you the ability to set up group training sessions to improve the likelihood of your strikers putting big chances away or of defenders making key tackles. Good idea.
You will decide when to train and when to rest during the week as you balance your players’ sharpness with morale and fitness to make the difference between winning and losing.
And here we go again. Promises about an enhanced AI.  Anyway, EA a more informed AI decision-making in marking, tackling, passing, and dribbling to present you with more challenges during each match.Â
There will be new ways to sign players. Make Loan to Buy offers with optional or mandatory future transfer fees to secure new talent for your team, and respond to AI manager-initiated player swap proposals as you look to master the transfer market.
