There are many rumors. But also facts that suggest that PES 2021 could be just a season update for PES 2020. That could set an interesting precedent for football games. What do you think?
A few days ago a new entry for the name of eFootball PES 2021 Season Update appeared in Australia's age classification register, within the category of video games, authored by Konami. This suggests that the new PES 2021 will come through a seasonal update for eFootball PES 2020, instead of being a completely new game as usual.
Could EA Sports follow the same path with FIFA 21 on current generation consoles and PC? The economic crisis could impact on gaming industry and companies could find a chance to reduce costs by simply updating their current titles with new season kits, teams, players, lineups, rosters, etc.Â
Remember that 2 years ago, EA Sports chief executive Andrew Wilson revealed in an interview that the company's sports titles - including FIFA - could become a subscription service. A core game updated year after year.Â
