PES 2010 Stadium exported to Blender

  POSTED September 23, 2009

Just a few minutes ago, i exported the first stadium from PES 2010 demo! This is Anfield on Blender, without textures for now... I managed to export it with some of my tools and later i am going to work on completing the whole process.

It seems there are a few changes on stadium's bins structure, but the most important format (3d data) is mostly the same as before. So this is great news, as soon as we are going to have the new PES Stadium Studio soon enough to enjoy much stadiums and i will have the chance to rewrite much of the code and add some new cool things on the new tool.

PSS 2008 was my first real purpose application, so the code is really messed up. PSS 2009 wasn't much of a PSS 2008 tweaked for the new title. Now, it's good chance to rewrite the application from the top and this would make the tool better, more stable and may also give us some great additions to the future. I can't say much for now, because this is going to be more clear as soon as i start the project again, but some of my thoughs is support for 3ds files and maybe some lighting effects like vertex paint and shadow maps, which i couldn't implement last year due to techical difficulties.

Stay tuned here at ModdingWay and be patient. More things to come soon...
