The international fixtures are a mess when it comes to predicting Teams of the Week. This TOTW 28, based on World Cup Qualification matches and international friendlies, is not the exception. Check out the contenders.
Messi or Neymar?
Messi scored one against Venezuela, a Neymar a penalty against Chile. In normal circumstances, this won´t be enough to receive an In-Form. But EA probably will save this TOTW with top players like Messi or Neymar. In favor of Neymar, he got this first In-Form before Messi got his. They could complete the attacking trio with Luis Diaz, Vinicius, Pulisic, Bergwijn, Bale, etc.
The AlternativeEA could also avoid giving the in-forms to Neymar or Messi, and give them to two Headliners. Luis Díaz and Vinicius Jr and complete the trio with Di María second In-Form. It´s not a bad alternative.
MidfieldersThere are a few interesting options when considering midfielders.
Tchouaméni, De Paul, Valverde, Otávio, Herrera, Bailey among the top contenders
Defenders and GoalkeepersEA could pick Memo Ochoa, due to his performance with Mexico v United States and Dimitrievski due to his amazing performance with North Macedonia against Italy.
Finally, the defender's pick seems to be more complex to solve. There are a few candidates like Raum, Shaw, Tierney, Blind, Lindeloff, Araujo ( as RB ) and even Jordi Alba
