World Cup in FUT : Limited Items, Heroes and Swaps

It has been revealed that there will be no World Cup mode in FUT. There will be special cards and themed content, like a promo, but no mode related to World Cup. Also, there will be World Cup Swaps and World Cup Heroes.

A new update will be released soon to enable World Cup mode in FIFA 23. But there will be no World Cup mode for FUT according to @FutSheriff.

 World Cup Special Cards

@FutSheriff revealed that there will be Special TIME LIMITED cards for World Cup Players that you will use to complete Objectives and SBCs based on WC. This TIME LIMITED items will be added to your account depending on the Objectives or SBCs you complete but will be REMOVED from your club after the "World Cup Season" (starting 11/11) is over. On the other hand, all themed cards (Heroes, Stars, etc) are NOT limited and will continue at your club after you completed them.

 World Cup Heroes

  • Available from Nov 11th
  • While in packs, will replace the Base Fut Hero version
  • Some of them will be only available as Player SBC or OBJ
  • They are permanent

 World Cup Swaps

  • Also, launch on Nov 11th
  • You will. be able to redeem them for Packs also Special Player items
  • Free token on the 1st day
  • Most of the will be available via offline and online objectives
