Previous Halloween Promos in FIFA

In FIFA 18, during the Scream promo, the player's card received a +1 Overall upgrade. When the promo ended the card received a huge boost for a few days. Then it returned to previous stats, but a few times during the year, their boosts returned. These returns were usually related to Friday 13th, full moon, and sometimes they were just random. It was an interesting concept. We recreated that promo in FIFA 22 with this concept card that we posted on our Twitter account.

In FIFA 19, things changed. The player awarded with the Scream card had 2 stats upgraded to 90, the rest remained in their original values. Those stats got periodic boosts but they were dynamic, changing for instance from Pace & Passing to Shooting & Dribbling. The concept was interesting probably not as much as the one in FIFA 18, but it worked. Again, we recreated that promo in FIFA 22 with two concept cards that we posted on our Twitter account.

FIFA 20 Scream Promo, was probably the worst one. Players received just a permanent upgrade. there were just permanent upgrades. The Player´s two lowest stats received a major boost. But that´s all. No chances, no events, nothing. We recreate that FIFA 20 promo in FIFA 22 with this Witsel concept Scream card.

In FIFA 21 EA decided to leave behind the Scream promo. Anyway, the Rulebreakers one was not different. One or two stats received a major upgrade, while the others got small one. You will probably remember Kane with a +23 pace boost. As well as in FIFA 20 those upgrades were permanent. Probably the greatest card of that promo was Rulebreaker Akinfenwa.
