Messi

3 goals and 1 assist. He is there just because it´s Messi. Not a great month for Barcelona. Even that Messi was able to break a record and score three goals. 

Iago Aspas

3 goals and 3 assist. Brillant month for Iago Aspas and Celta. Another serious contender.

Mario Hermoso

1 goal. He scored last week and we included him as TOTW 14 contender. Solid performances in the last matches. 

Gerard Moreno

2 goals. He got an IF recently. Villarreal didn´t have a great December but he managed to have a great performance that granted him an IF.

Koundé

Some solid performances from him helped Sevilla to have a great December, with some narrow victories that allow them to climb to 4th position.

Ontiveros

2 goals. Huesca is at the bottom of La Liga. He managed to score two despite that.
