Because it's cracked. You have to buy original version of game to use the mod.

I think people are confused that when it says "alternative version" in the installation instructions, they think it means a version that is cracked.

I'm not sure I understand where I can play a Champions League? Is it in tournaments? Or is it only set to appear when in career mode?

Hey, just wanted to say to @Ariel and @Emi Stark that Ariel was right, this is the best FIFA18 mod I've found after trying them all. At least for the Premier League and European content.

I hope that soon, I also
add the tournaments in separate modes, that they leave aside the Career
Mode and also think about those who play tournaments with friends. For example, Copa Libertadores, Sudamericana, Eurocopa, Copa Africa, Copa América, etc. I hope someday the designers try. Regards!!


Espero que pronto, también agreguen los torneos en modos aparte, que dejen de lado un poquito el Modo Carrera y también piensen en aquellos que jugamos torneos con amigos. Sumar como modos aparte,a la Copa Libertadores, Sudamericana, Eurocopa, Copa Africa, Copa América, etc. Ojalá algun dia hagan el intento. Saludos

Well, you might not have a fully themed tournament like the FIFA16 World Cup Mod, but at least you can have the latest kits, stadiums, and squads and create a Custom Tournament. Good enough for now. If not you can still play FIFA 16, it's still an amazing game. We do at least also have the country tournaments. But I understand it's not the same as a FULL Libertadores or Champions League. Hopefully they'll be able to expose them one day but for now, I'm happy making Custom Tournaments if I have to.

I just have two questions I can't seem to find answers for:
1. How does it work with EA updates? As long as you are on the latest, you can run the latest working FA patch?
2. With the edited elements, I imagine they can also be seen in Exhibition mode and in regular or custom tournaments, right? Or only in Career?

Same here, i have FIFA 18 updated with latest EA update, i have install everything as you write in description. I have the mod installed in frosty mod manager, but nothing has changed in game. PLease, help us..

Same for me, I bought the game only to play this mod and It won't start for me, despite following instructions to the letter and I have no error msgs.

hay nuevo patch FA MOD V2, pero es destinado más a equipos sul americanas, vas a crear algun patch ou editar algo como tienes en fifa 16, pero en fifa 18? com más equipos de europa e más kits e competiciones de europa?
