April-December 2009 Konami  profits experienced a steep decline, sinking 40.4 percent. Of Konami's four divisions, Digital Entertainment saw the steepest decline in nine-month revenue, falling 32.5 percent.  But the biggest release for the period, World Soccer Winning Eleven 2010, released in the US and Europe as Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PSP, PC, and PlayStation 2 helped to keep Konami profitable. This will probably force Konami to keep improving the game and take care of PES more than ever.
