Hunter played professionally overseas in Poland (AZS Koszalin) and Belgium before signing with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA Development League prior to the 2008-09 season.[1] He signed with the New York Knicks on April 14, 2009, appearing in 2 pre-season games, averaging 2 points in 4½ minutes per game before being waived on October 22.[2] On November 20, Hunter signed with the Golden State Warriors, making him the first call-up of the 2009-10 NBA D-League season.On December 28, 2010, Hunter was waived by the Mad Ants due to injury.
