"Both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 architectures are a generation ahead of the highest end PC on the market"  stated today in a LinkedIn post Electronic Arts's CTO Rajat Teneja. This way EA justify why next generation version of games probably won´t arrive to PCs during the next 2 or 3 years. What do you think ? Rob Hodson, Community Manager for EA SPORTS FIFA Series, revealed, Ignite engine is only coming to Xbox One and PS4 and not to the PC. EA will repeat their formula when they switched to previous generation for Xbox 360 and PS3. During years PC gamers received and Old Gen version of the game while consoles like X360 and PS3 got a different one based on a new engine.

Electronic Arts showed off next-generation versions of its FIFA, UFC, Madden NFL and NBA Live franchises at Microsoft's reveal event for the Xbox One today, and said all next-gen EA Sports titles will run on the new Ignite engine.
